garlic and onions

I got down after work today, and put some more garlic in, and some Sturon onion sets. The ground is a bit warmer now, and much dryer - beginning to be ideal for sowing and planting, though maybe a bit cold for the tenderer stuff. In now have one bed of autumn sown onion sets (Senshyu yellow), one and a half of garlic, one bed of shallots (a new experiment) and the half-bed of onions I sowed today.
I need to get broad beans and parsnips sown very soon. Some friends at work have promised me loads of cardboard to mulch with, which will help my normal losing battle with weeds.
